Fated is a new local Canadian band/duo based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada that
focuses predominantly on producing "singer-songwriter" genre music but also includes
contemporary and indie music. The duo aims to create music that inspires, uplifts and
connects to listeners through lyrics that contain stories or emotions that are easy to relate

The duo is made up of vocalist, Sydney Baldwin, whose background has included
musical theatre and professional vocal performances and training in the award winning
Manitoban Choir, "Prairie Voices". Her ongoing involvement in the choir over a term
over four years has presented Sydney with many opportunities to work with various styles
of music. Sydney has had private professional vocal training and has had the privilege of
being a part of projects that have been released already on iTunes, and Spotify the last

Composer&producer Bomba C Ng'andu, makes up the other half of the duo. His
background includes playing various styles of music. His ongoing involvement in
overseeing the music at a local church "Bethel Community Church" has allowed him to
work with many other vocalists and musicians which contributes to his passion for using
music to inspire others. Working with various artists such as Nashe presented
opportunities to produce Hip-hop&R&B beats as well, which is one of his major

with lyrical content that aims to encourage listeners of hope in all situations of life. The
